Are there any risks involved in the treatment?

H.E.L.P. apheresis is generally very well tolerated
and has few complications. As with any treatment, there are risks and side effects. However, these are very rare and easy to control. For example, there may be haematomas at the injection sites, a short-term so-called vasovagal reaction,
